Asparagus with ginger

Green asaparagus are eaten worldwide.They are low in calories and very low in sodium.They are a good source of dietary fibre & rich source of protein.The shoots are prepared typically as an appetizer or as a vegetable side dish.Today we`ll be learning a quick & easy asian style stir frying method.trust me its an excellent way of incorporating greens on your kids plate.

All u need
Ingredients

Asparagus 1 bunch
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Minced ginger 1 tbs
Lemon juice 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese 1tsp

Recipe

1.Cut asparagus diagonally into 2 inch pieces.
2.Bring oil to medium heat in a frying pan.
3.Add cumin seeds let them splutter.
4.Now add asparagus,ginger,lemon juice,salt & pepper.
5.Stir fry for 4-5 mins until asparagus are tender but still crunchy.
6.Turn off the heat & place them in the serving plate,sprinkle some grated parmesan cheese on top just before serving.cheese will melt on asparagus.

Delicious stir fry asparagus with ginger is ready to be served.its a great way to include some greens on your plate.
