Stuffed & baked tomatoes


 

INGREDIENTS

Tomatoes 6
Spinach 2 bunch
garlic cloves minced 4-5
onion medium finely chopped
salt to taste
oregano 1 tbsp
chilli flakes 1 tbsp
pepper 1/2 tbsp
heavy cream 1/2 cup
cheese grated 2-3 tbsp

RECIPE

1.Blanch spinach.
2.In a pan heat some oil,add cumin seeds,let them splutter than add minced garlic,fry for a min than add finely chopped onion.

3.Add salt,pepper,origano,chilli flakes.
4.Add tomato puree.(you can also use the same pulp which you scooped out of our tomatoes..just mash them fine)

 

5.cook for 4-5 mins,now add blanced & roughly chopped spinach.
6.check the seasoning..if it requires little more salt/pepper you can add at this point.

 

 

7.Add full cream.
8.Mix everything together,now turn off the heat.

 

9.Stuff tomatoes with this mixture,sprinkle some cheese,oregano,chilli flakes on top of cheese.
10.Broil it in the oven for just 5 min,just to get a crispy layer of melted cheese & spinach on top of tomatoes.

Yummy..delicious stuffed & baked tomatoes with creamy spinach is ready to be served.serve hot!!
