Peanut Chaat


Peanuts or groundnuts have a very high nutritional value.They are used in many forms.They can be eaten raw,used in recipes,made into oils,used in medicines & yes how can we forget our peanut butter jam.
Today i m sharing with u a delicious,healthy,pretty quick & easy to amke snack "Peanut chaat.This can be served as an appetizer,or evening snack.For this recipe we`ll be boiling our peanuts instead of frying or roasting.

For this healthy & low fat snack all u need



Raw peanuts 1/2 cup
Chopped tomatoes 1/2 cup
Chopped cucumbers 1/2 cup
Chopped green chilli 1-2
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
Dry mango powder(amchoor)1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Cilantro for dressing

Recipe
1.Boil 2 cups of water with 1/2 tsp salt & 1/4 tsp turmeric.once the water starts boiling add raw peanuts & let them boil for about 15-20 mins untill all the water is soaked,or the peanuts get tender.you`ll notice that peanuts gets double in size after boiling.

2.Once peanuts are done & cooled out,in a bowl add peanuts,chopped tomatoes,chopped cucumbers,salt,green chilli,cumin powder,dry mango powder,pepper to taste,lemon juice & chopped cilantro.
3.Toss everything together.
