Indo chinese Fried Rice Recipe

Indo-Chinese Fried Rice



Fried rice is made from steamed rice stir fried in the wok(pan),often  with other ingredients like veggies,eggs & meat.The leftover rice works great with this type of dish,as the moisture in the fresh rice will cause it to steam instead of fry.

All you need



Ingredients




Pre-cooked rice 2cups
Minced ginger 1tsp
Chopped onion 1 medium 
Thinly sliced carrots 2-3
Thinly sliced bell pepper1
Shredded cabbage 1/2 cup
Spring onions for garnishing
chili paste 
soya sauce 2tsp
white vinegar 2tsp
teriyaki sauce 1tsp
Ketchup 2tsp
egg 1(optional)
salt as per taste
oil 1 tbsp

Recipe
1.Heat oil in preheated wok on medium-high heat.Add ginger,stir until you smell a nice fragrance.Add onion,stir-fry for about 2 minutes,until softened.




2.Push the onions to the side of wok.Add carrots,bell peppers & shredded cabbage & stir fry for few Min's.

3.Break an egg on one side of the wok/pan,scramble it.cook until done & than mix it with the other veggies.(this step is completely optional)



4.Add rice in the middle of the pan,untill heated through(about 2 mins)using a spatula to turn & move the rice.remember dont overcook because you just want to heat the rice.




5.Stir in soy sauce,white vinegar,chili sauce and teriyaki sauce,Add salt to taste.Add green onions for garnishing.Taste & add seasonings if desired.


Delicious quick & easy indo -Chinese fried rice is ready. serve hot,enjoy!!
Note:Adding egg is totally optional.
