BLACK FOREST CAKE RECIPE

 

 

INGREDIENTS

  •  Butter 1/2 cup
  • Unsweetened condensed milk 1/3 cup
  • Sugar1/2 cup
  • All purpose flour 1 cup
  • Unsweetened coco powder 4-5tbsp
  • Baking powder 1tbsp
  • Baking soda 1/4 tbsp
  • Vanilla extract 1 tbsp
FOR CHERRY SYRUP
  • Water 2 tbsp
  • Sugar 1tbsp
  • Cherries 1/4 cup
For Butter cream frosting
  • Butter 1cup
  • Powdered sugar 4 cups
  • Vanilla extract 1 tbsp
For decorating
  • Cherries 6-7 
  • Dark chochlate curls
Others
  • Cake tray

RECIPE

  1. Preheat oven at 350 F.
  2. In a mixing bowl take butter & sugar,make a cream of butter & sugar by hand blender,till the mixture is light & fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla essence & blend again.
  4. In a separate bowl take all purpose flour,baking powder,baking soda & coco powder.sieve them together & mix well.
  5. Now add this mix to the batter of butter & sugar,along with condensed milk little by little & blend it for 2-3 mins.
  6. Pour this mixture in a greased baking dish.keep dish in the oven bake it for 35 mins.
  7. To check if the cake is ready insert a knife in the center,if it comes out clean it means the cake is done,otherwise u need to bake it more.
Delicious chocholate cake is ready.
Cherry syrup
For cherry syrup,all u need to do...
  • Blend cherries,water & sugar in a blender,see it was that easy.
Butter cream frosting
  • Take 4 cups of sugar in a bowl.
  • Add 1&1/2 cups of butter(at room temp) in this sugar.
  • Add few drops of vanilla extract.
  • Mix all these together,with the help of a hand blender.
  • Butter cream frosting is ready,if u need to add any color u can do at this point,but i am gonna go with traditional all white frosting.
Remaining steps
  • Cut the cooled chocolate cake horizontally in two portions.set these two portions on the work surface.
  • Now apply a layer of chery syrup on these layers,properly..u need to soak the cake in this syrup,just enough...but not toooo much.
  • Now transfer the bottom layer of the cake in the serving tray,apply cream frosting on top.
  • Now cover this with the other part of the cake.
  • Now cover the cake generously with cream from all sides.
  • Now decorate the cake with dark chocolate curls/or grated chocolate as u can see in the pic,just be creative.top it with cherry.
Delicious eggless black foreast cake is ready!!Now go & try,trust me it tastes yumm.m!!Smile
